Mr. Kurt Mentzel, Vice President

Kurt Mentzel, Vice-President, has been with the Hogan Center for Performance Excellence for 10 years. He serves as consultant, trainer, lecturer and product developer in helping organizations move to a higher level of performance using:

• The model for performance excellence (Baldridge)
• Performance measurement and management
• Process management including Statistical Process Control
• Other performance models including ISO 9000, Six Sigma and Lean Enterprise

Kurt's vast experience includes 26 years with Johnson & Johnson where he served in a variety of roles in manufacturing, quality assurance and executive leadership as company Quality Systems Manager. He also worked closely with customers, suppliers and the community to influence continual improvement. Kurt's experience and his passion for people and processes help Hogan company clients achieve top objectives while reducing cost.

Kurt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Science (Pre-Med) degree at Austin College and is both an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
